Haverhill travelled to Norfolk for this top of the table clash with Lodden only one place behind Rovers at the start of the game.

The first half was an evenly matched game with both teams passing the chance to take the lead, Michelle Onley and Louise Anderson both firing wide of the mark for Haverhill. The new goalkeeper for Haverhill, Katie Allen, kept the home side from taking the lead and the score was 0-0 at half time.

The second half of this match came alive after only 5 minutes when a great pass from Bekki Smith found Onley who, from 18 yards out, hit the ball into the top corner of the net.

Rovers were in command with Kelly Taylor, Rachell Lindsell and Rachell Mann working hard in midfield to keep the opposition in their own half. On the rare occassion that Lodden pushed forward the solid defence of Helen Cryer, Joy Morton and Stacey Spiers easily dealt with any attack, the hard working Anderson creating chances for Aimee Rawlings, Sian Randall and Rachell Mann before Smith put Rawlings clear to score a superb secnd goal for Rovers on her return from injury.
