| HAVERHILL ROVERS LADIES | 3-1 | CRIMINAL JUSTICE UNIT |
Haverhill made hard work in beating this bottom of the table club from Ipswich who hadn't scored before the game.
For Haverhill Randall opened the scoring after 30 minutes, a good through ball from Lindsell setting up Randall to round the 'keeper and slot home.
Rovers dominated the first half and should have been at least four goals up at half time, Spiers, Mann and Anderson all shooting off target.
The second half saw a change in formation for Rovers as Taylor was pushed into midfield and they soon saw the benefit when, after another Lindsell run, the ball was crossed into the box for Anderson to head home.
Then, as Haverhill began to relax, CJU came into the game and pressured the Haverhill defence, causing a sloppy backpass to the goalkeeper, who failed to clear and CJU hit their first of the season.
Rovers got back on track and player of the match Lindsell netted to give them all three points and put them 3rd in the table.
