| CHELMSFORD CITY LADIES | 0-3 | HAVERHILL ROVERS LADIES |
Haverhill travelled to Chelmsford needing 3 points to win the league and gain promotion.
From the kick off Rovers were the dominant team and created two early chances through Sian Randall and Stacey Spiers.
Chelmsford lost a player early in the first half due to a clash of heads, the challenge resulting in the Chelmsford player sustaining a broken nose. There were a few first half injuries to both sides, due mainly to the hard gound.
Haverhill failed to put away further chances in the first half and the 0-0 half time score line didn't reflect the state of play.
In the second period Rovers came out wanting to win the game and took the lead on 50 minutes through Sian Randall, who turned and netted during a goal mouth scramble.
Chelmsford pushed forward searching for the equaliser, but the back four of Zoe Klimcke, Charlotte Halls, Pavlina Beasley and Karli Hammond kept Binks and Jolly at bay.
A great Zoe Klimcke tackle on the advancing Brown, Chelmsford's best player, saw Brown go off with an injury and this left chelmsford weakened.
A great ball by substitute Smith put Randall away, who unselfishly crossed the ball for Louise Anderson to make it 2-0.
Haverhill made two more substitutions midway through the half, Helen Cryer replacing the injured Stacey Spiers and Michelle onley replacing the tired Aimee Rawlings.
With 7 minutes left Haverhill wrapped it up, a solo run by Randall from the half way line ending when she rounded the 'keeper and scored to give Haverhill the league title.
