CAMBRIDGE RANGERS
4-2
HAVERHILL ROVERS LADIES

Haverhill travelled to Cambridge for this cup match and, on a windy cold afternoon, Rovers failed to keep warm and conceded an early goal from a corner that they didn't recover from, Louise Anderson and Michelle Onley up front failing to convert Haverhill's first half chances. Cambridge scored a second, again from a corner, to lead 2-0 at the interval.

In the second half Rovers bought Aimee Rawlings on to add some spirit up front, which she did by winning a penalty and then converting it.

Haverhill continued to pressure the Rangers defence but it was Rangers who scored on the break.

Stacey Spiers, who had played the first half in goal, scored for Haverhill late on but Cambridge replied from the kick off to win 4-2.
