| P & T PANTHERS GIRLS | 0-7 | HAVERHILL ROVERS GIRLS (U12s) |
Haverhill Rovers Girls had a long journey to Peterborough to play P and T Panthers.
Haverhill started well by pinning the Panthers in their own half in a completely one sided game.
Stacey Roper and Chloe Ellis caused all sorts of trouble up front with numerous chances for them both.
Stacey eventually scored to make it 1-0 and, two minutes later, Chloe got on the score sheet to make it 2-0.
Haverhill contined to dominate with Charlotte Westrope and Alisha Jenkins not letting any of the Panthers' midfielders past them. The defence of Jessica Fox and Rachel Jeffs were hardly tested.
Five minutes before half time Stacey scored her second to put Haverhill 3-0 up.
On came "roll on, roll off" subs Amy Hull and Leah Goreham, who both had shooting chances but failed to score to make the half time score 3-0.
In the second half Haverhill took Evey Richardson out of goal to play on the pitch and Rachel Jeffs took her place in goal. Ten minutes into the second half Evey scored to the delight of the parents and supporters.
Panthers did have a long range shot at Rachel, who saved it easily and picked up the ball and launched a long kick for Stacey to run onto and plant into the back of the net.
The game got easier for the girls as they were based in Panthers' half for the rest of the game.
Chloe scored two more goals to bring the score to 7-0 and that was the final score.
This was Haverhill Rovers Girls' 15th straight win in the league with just one more game to go. Manager Steve Hull said "all the girls were brilliant again today."
Haverhill Rovers Girls would like to thank Form Mould and Toolmakers for sponsoring them.
