Haverhill Rovers Girls were away to Aztecs and, from the start, caused Aztecs all sorts of problems with Katie, Chloe, Holly and Stacey testing the Aztecs 'keeper, who saved well.

Haverhill took the lead when Molly, in midfield, won the ball and passed it to Katie, who unleashed a cracking shot that beat the 'keeper at her near post to make it 1-0.

Aztecs did have a few chances, but Evey was quick off her line to clear any danger.

Stacey got goal number two with a curling shot from the edge of the area and then added a third following a one-two with Chloe to make the half time score 3-0.

After that goal the Haverhill defence of Amy, Alisha, Rachel and Katy stopped any Aztecs attacks and the midfield of Charlotte, Molly and Shannon started to push up and try to get on the score sheet, but their efforts either went by the post or were met by some good defending from Aztecs.

Haverhill had lots more chances but just could not add to the score.
