HAVERHILL ROVERS GIRLS (U13s)
2-2
HORMEAD HARES

Haverhill Rovers Girls had their first home match of the season and were quick into action attacking the Hormead defence.

Haverhill scored the first goal when Chloe won the ball in midfield and passed it to Katie, who sent a cross over for Stacey to score and make it 1-0.

Hormead equalised ten minutes later to make the score 1-1.

There were opportunities at both ends to score but Amy, Alisha, Rachel and Katy in defence for Haverhill stood firm to make the half time score 1-1.

In the second half Hormead applied more pressure and went 2-1 up, but that brought Haverhill into action with Charlotte, Molly, Holly and Shannon (who made her debut) all fighting for the ball and trying to set the forwards up.

At last, Chloe scored an equalizer when Amy won a tackle and passed it to Stacey, who went down the wing and put a good cross over for Chloe to tap in.

With minutes to go a good save from Evey allowed Alisha to clear the ball off the line and Haverhill were happy to take a 2-2 draw.
