Haverhill continued their great form when they played host to a high flying Histon side.
Haverhill quickly took control of the game with a great run from Katie Schulz, who sent the ball into the penalty box and Jessica Clay slotted the ball home to make it 1-0.
Five minutes later Katie made it 2-0 as she ran through the defence and blasted the ball past the 'keeper.
Histon got themselves back in the game with an individual goal and a goal following a deflection which brought the score level at 2-2.
Haverhill then stepped up a gear; Molly McFall won possession in midfield and set up Stacey Roper to put Haverhill 3-2 up.
Three minutes from half time Katie got her second to make the score 4-2.
But Histon, to their credit, pulled another goal back to make the half time score 4-3.
The second half was one of the best performances of the season from the girls; the passing and moving was brilliant when Charlotte Westrope broke up a Histon attack and played the ball to Chloe Ellis who scored from 30 yards out.
Stacey followed up with two more goals to complete her hat trick and Katie scored another to complete hers
Histon then scored a late goal to make the final score 8-4.
This win took the girls four places up the table.
