HAVERHILL ROVERS GIRLS
14-0
ALCONBURY COLTS

(from manager Steve Hull)

Haverhill Rovers Girl played host to Alconbury Colts, who were new to the league.

Haverhill started the better team with all out attack on the Alconbury goal; two minutes into the game Katie Schulz put Haverhill ahead and then added a second a minute later.

Chloe Ellis added a third after a one-two with Katie and, not to be left out, Stacey Roper scored to make it 4-0.

Katie then completed her hat trick, which made the half time score 5 - 0.

In the second half Alconbury had a few attacks on the Haverhill goal but found Alisha Jenkins and Jessica Fox in good form. Evey Richardson made a few saves but had a quiet game as the girls were defending well.

Amy Hull, Emily Pollecutt and Rachel Jeffs also came on as "roll on, roll off" substitutes as some girls were getting tired.

Five minutes into the second half Haverhill scored their sixth through Stacey before Charlotte Westrope scored the seventh.

There was also a debut goal from Emily to make it eight.

A further five goals from Stacey took her tally to seven for the match and Katie scored again for her fourth of the match.

Final score 14 - 0. An excellent display by Haverhill Rovers Girls.

Haverhill Rovers Girls U12s would like to thank Form Mould & Toolmakers for sponsoring them.
