| HUNTINGDON ROWDIES YOUTH | 0-11 | HAVERHILL ROVERS GIRLS (U12s) |
Haverhill Rovers Girls made the long journey to Huntingdon after a two week break from league action.
For the first five minutes there was nothing between the sides; then Haverhill changed gear and upped the pace and scored two quick goals, the goals coming from Chloe Ellis and Katie Schulz.
Then it started to get easier for their side with the Haverhill players passing the ball all around the pitch in a way that the Huntingdon players couldn't match.
Haverhill scored two more goals through Chloe and Charlotte Westrope to make the half time score 0-4.
In the second half Haverhill Rovers' play was just awesome with Alisha Jenkins, Rachel Jeffs and Amy Hull solid in defence and passing the ball around to the midfield and forward players and, on the odd occasion, surging forward themselves.
Rachel made a goal with a through ball to Stacey Roper, who went on to score, and Stacey then went on and got a second goal later on.
Charlotte scored another by chipping the 'keeper and Chloe scored another two, as did Katie, making the final score 0-11.
Evey Richardson (in goal) kept her fifth clean sheet of the season, being only called upon once with a long range effort which she comfortably saved.
The best display by the girls so far this season.
Haverhill Rovers Girls U12s would like to thank Form Mould and Toolmakers for sponsoring them.
