| GREAT YARMOUTH TOWN | 0-3 | HAVERHILL ROVERS |
Haverhill made it nine wins on the bounce as they returned to the promotion positions in the division with this win on the Norfolk coast.
They opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, Neil Cogger's tremendous 35 yard free kick striking the post as goalkeeper Nick Banham could only follow the ball; with the defence static, Marcus Hunt was able to take his time, chest the ball into the air and head it into the unguarded net.
Haverhill thought they had scored again after 64 minutes, Marc Abbott playing in Martin Westcott who, after rounding Banham, saw his goal bound effort put in on the line by Cogger, who was deemed to have been in an offside position.
Cogger did net after 70 minutes to give his side a two goal lead, however, Ben Cowling being felled in the penalty area by William Lewis and Cogger scoring from the spot kick despite Banham guessing the right way with his dive.
The final goal from Cogger's replacement, Tom Shearer, less than a minute after coming in as he crashed the ball into the net at the near post in the 89th minute.
