Haverhill crashed out of the Chell Trophy on Saturday with an under par performance against a strong Lowestoft team.
Following last weeks thrilling 3-3 draw Haverhill had the upper hand going into this tie with the away goals counting double but were 2-0 down within 21 minutes.
After just 11 minutes Craig Lewis scored from a quickly taken corner to put the visitors ahead and then, ten minutes later, Gaz Williams converted a penalty to give Lowestoft a commanding lead.
Haverhill's best opportunities came late in the second half with Craig Cutts having a shot saved on the line by the Lowestoft goalkeeper and Jamie Challis' free kick being tipped over following a deflection.
Cutts also hit the post with 8 minutes left but, by then, the tie was over with Lowestoft progressing through to the next round.
