HAVERHILL ROVERS RESERVES
1-4
TIPTREE UNITED RESERVES

Haverhill's hopes of winning the South Division this season were ended with this loss, top team Stanway getting a point away to Clacton to finish up as champions.

The hosts took the lead after 13 minutes, a ball forward by Sam Green allowing Neil Green to run on and stroke the ball into the bottom left corner past goalkeeper Liam Daniels.

Tiptree equalised four minutes into the second half, Tom Robinson's work on the left ending with home defender James Catten being to do nothing except to turn his low ball into the area into his own net.

They took the lead after 56 minutes when Robinson squared the ball for Dan Cox to net from close range.

Cox then netted once more in the 74th minute to put his side 3-1 up before home substitute Craig Smith was sent off for violent conduct a minute later to leave his side's chances of a comeback less likely.

Rhys Earl's 20 yard effort into the top right corner after 83 minutes then made the deficit insurmountable.
