SAFFRON WALDEN TOWN
1-3
HAVERHILL ROVERS

Haverhill became the first side to take home the cup on three occasions following this enthralling game.

They had a 2-0 lead at the break, Colin Vowden netting in the 38th minute after he was first to the ball when Marcus Hunt's flick from Marc Abbott's free kick was parried by goalkeeper Kieron Badcock; Adam Salmons then scored two minutes later with a 12 yard overhead kick into the bottom right corner.

Walden dominated periods of the second half and pulled a goal back in the 86th minute, Ben Smith scoring after goalkeeper Alec Banthorpe was unable to hold a free kick by substitute Ryland Mynott.

Haverhill made sure four minutes into added time when Ben Cowling smacked in a shot off the underside of the bar at the near post following a cut back by substitute Neil Cogger.
