Two goals from Ben Cowling at the start of the second half effectively killed off this game as they added to Haverhill's one goal lead at the break and left Haverhill 14 games unbeaten and Gorleston without an away win in the league for 6.

They took the lead on 16 minutes, a corner on the left by Sam Green flicked into the net ant the near post by Marcus Hunt.

The lead was doubled three minutes after the break when, from a corner by Neil Cogger, the ball was headed back in by Colin Vowden, Hunt headed the ball forward and Cowling netted with a close range bicycle kick.

Cowling scored again two minutes later following some good work on the right by Martin Westcott, his low cross being met by Cowling at the near post and going into the top right hand corner.

Cogger than got on the score sheet in the 63rd minute when he burst through to find himself one-on-one with goalkeeper Taurean Molloy, Cogger this time finding the bottom right corner after being thwarted minutes previously.

The final goal came from substitute Tom Shearer in the 83rd minute, a long kick by goalkeeper Arron Benstead headed by Westcott into Shearer's pitch, the striker side footing the ball past Molloy and into the net six minutes after coming on.
