An amazing match leaves the second leg of this Chell Trophy tie in the balance as ten man Haverhill, after losing an early 2-0 lead, scored an 83rd minute equaliser to leave things level when they return to Hamlet Croft.

A Ross Elkins header from on the post in the 8th minute put the away side a goal up before Cody Frazier doubled their lead when he put his shot across goalkeeper Adam Rix and into the far bottom corner eight minutes later.

With 28 minutes gone Haverhill were reduced to ten men and Lowestoft given a penalty, Stuart Kingham receiving a disputed second yellow card after receiving his first seven minutes earlier, Henry Wyndham converting the spot kick to put his side back in it.

Two excellent saves from Haverhill's Liam Cutts and one from Rix kept the score 2-1 to the travellers at the break.

Lowestoft equalised after 65 minutes when Daniel Mitchell managed to beat Cutts at his near post, the away goalkeeper cursing his luck three minutes later when the hosts took a 3-2 lead following a corner on the right, Craig Lewis coming into the area and hitting a shot against the post, the ball rebounding off the woodwork, hitting flat footed Cutts on the back of the head and rolling over the goal line.

A touch of fortune and opportunism lead to goalkeeper Cutts' returning brother to level the scores when Dale Smith made a mistake for the hosts in the right corner of his own half; Shaun Banham capitalised and fed the ball to striker Craig Cutts who, after forcing his way to a central position, got the ball past the goalkeeper and a retreated defender and into the net.
