Three Haverhill goals in a four minute spell within the final twenty of this match helped Haverhill to third win in four matches.

The hosts scored their first after a quarter of an hour, a good free kick by Jamie Thurlbourne causing confusion in the Woodbridge penalty area, Nick Impey almost walking the ball into the net to give his side the lead.

Woodbridge equalised in the 41st minute after a cross from left by Grant Monaghan wasn't fully cleared, Luke Read connecting with a nicely taken 15 yard volley and sending the ball past goalkeeper Arron Benstead.

The away side took the lead nine minutes after the break when a counter attack with a ball over the top found Dean Tournay-Godfrey; his first touch took it past the much advanced Arron Benstead 35 yards out before he slotted it into the empty net.

The turnaround started in the 71st minute, Colin Vowden's free header out wide from a Thurlbourne header hitting the near upright and Marcus Hunt scoring from the rebound to make it 2-2.

Two minutes later it was 3-2 to the hosts when a Benstead kick over a static Woodbridge defence allowed substitute Martin Westcott to run on and volley lob the ball over goalkeeper Marcus Garnham.

The 74th minute bore the final goal, Richard Heller running past four defenders before squaring the ball to an unmarked Adam Ben-Saud, who took his time before netting between Garnham and his near right post.
