AFC KEMPSTON LADIES
1-2
HAVERHILL ROVERS LADIES

Haverhill kept their unbeaten run this season as they gained revenge against a side that beat them in the semi finals of the League Plate last season.

Although they went behind with ten minutes gone Louise Anderson had an effort saved and also hit the cross bar before the half time break.

In the second period Amanda Everett, Shelley Farr and Katie Shorter all had chances to equalise with Anderson causing havoc against the home players.

A through ball from Everett enabled Farr to find that goal, manager Peter Betts switching to a 3-5-2 formation for the last quarter of an hour looking for the win.

That win was found following a corner by Farr, who returned the favour by setting up Everett to score at the back post.
