HAVERHILL ROVERS
4-3
KING'S LYNN RESERVES

This stunning match saw Haverhill go 3-0 up, King's Lynn bring it back to 3-3 and the hosts net once more to take all three points.

Ryan Kent's volley on the run after a ball over the top by Sam Green put the hosts 1-0 up after 29 minutes when it went in off the far upright, Paul Shaw doubling the lead 7 minutes later when he kept his focus and headed in Kent's cross after it went over goalkeeper Tom Rix.

An amazing 40 yard drive by Marc Abbott that found the far top right corner of the net, still rising as it went in, after 38 minutes gave the home side a 3 goal half time lead.

Then, after Haverhill goalkeeper Jamie Smith went off injured at half time, on the hour mark a comeback by King's Lynn began; a shot by substitute Kyle Nicholls parried by replacement 'keeper Brad Deeks and Stephen Harvey's cross was nodded in by fellow substitute Mark Rudd to make it 3-1 before Harvey's 15 yard low drive just over 30 seconds later made it 3-2.

Harvey then completed his side's fight back when he headed in a free kick by Seamus Kelleher on 67 minutes to tie the game up.

Shaw's second goal gave Haverhill the victory after 81 minutes when headed a cross by Jamie Thurlbourne across goal and past the stationary Rix.
