| WISBECH TOWN | 5-1 | HAVERHILL ROVERS |
Wisbech secured their fourth win in the last five home league matches as they condemned Haverhill to their sixth away game without a win themselves.
The hosts netted first after 18 minutes when Marc Abbott missed the ball as he attempted to clear it, Mark Jimson knocked the ball forward and then headed it himself over goalkeeper Jamie Smith and into the net.
The lead was doubled two minute into first half injury time when Stuart Cobb came in to a Jason Pease corner and side footed the ball through a crowd of players.
Two minutes into the second half and Wisbech were 3-0 up, the away defence standing still and Smith only being able to palm a short lob by Cobb away from goal to the feet of Jimson, who scored his second from a narrow angle.
The fourth goal came in the 52nd minute with the Haverhill defence too far forward, William Smith breaking from just inside his own half before calmly passing the ball wide of his same named opponent.
Four minutes later and it was 5-0, the away players not making their way back to defence quick enough and Smith, after some good skills on the left, cut the ball back for Darren Edey to score at the near post.
The consolation goal for Haverhill came three minutes into added time, home defender Lewis Cook going through substitute Lee Sharp from behind in the penalty area and Marcus Hunt scoring from the spot kick.
