SWAFFHAM TOWN
0-0
HAVERHILL ROVERS

Fourth placed Swaffham played host to second placed Haverhill in a game that would have a great effect on the promotion run in this season.

Unfortunately it proved to be an uninspiring match that did not help either side as it ended goal less.

The best chance of the opening period fell to Haverhill, Adam Salmons' outrageous high 25 yard volley with the outside of his boot tipped over by goalkeeper Jamie Butters as he scrambled back towards goal.

Swaffham's closest opportunity came near the start of the second half, Haverhill captain Marcus Hunt slipping and Ricky Muggleton almost taking advantage, only for his shot on the run from the edge of the area to be saved well low down by Butters' opposite number Alec Banthorpe.
