HAVERHILL ROVERS
4-1
LONG MELFORD

Haverhill made it 13 games unbeaten as a hat trick by Neil Cogger helped them inflict Melford's sixth consecutive away league defeat.

Martin Westcott gave the hosts the lead when he netted a square ball by Adam Salmons after 16 minutes, Cogger doubling the lead in the 35th minute when he rolled the ball over the line whilst on the ground, and the goal line, after some defensive confusion.

Melford pulled a goal back with a well taken volley on the turn by James Hawkins in the 56th minute, Cogger getting his second ten minutes later after waltzing through the away defence; his hat trick was sealed from the penalty spot after 83 minutes following a foul by Steve Adams on Westcott.
