A dire first half ended goal less, the closest chance coming when home goalkeeper Arron Benstead did well to push the ball away after a volley by Mark Porter was going wide before taking a wicked deflection of of Steven Gayfer.

Haverhill took ther lead in the 53rd minute following a corner on the left by first half substitute Ben Cowling, a flicked header at the near post by Marcus Hunt coming down off the bar and Adam Salmons tapping the ball home from on the goal line.

They held on their lead until 80 minutes had passed, a deep cross by Debenham substitute John Farrell met by a downward header back across goal by Stuart Jopling, the ball beating Benstead and going into the net.

A corner by substitute James Abbott also lead to Garry Pratt hitting the angle of the Haverhill goal right before the final whistle.
