Haverhill notched up their first win for eleven matches in front of more than 300 spectators thanks to a goal from Harry Halls and a brace from Martin Westcott.

They netted the first goal after 6 minutes when a side foot cross by Ryan Kent was deflected into the path of Westcott; goalkeeper Tom Ross blocked the ball at his feet but the ball ran to Halls for an easy tap in.

The second, and Westcott's first, came in the 40th minute when the ball was headed back forward and Westcott, with appeals for offside in the air, got ahead of Ross to put the ball high and into the now unguarded net.

There was hope for Woodbridge when they pulled a deserved goal back after 70 minutes, Liam Scopes' cross tapped in at the near post by Lee O'Neill, but these were dashed in the 73rd minute when Westcott headed in a corner by Neil Cogger at the near post.

There could have been more goals but for two goal line clearances at both ends by Haverhill's Sam Holmes and Woodbridge's David Kempson, who denied Westcott two more goals.
