KING'S LYNN RESERVES
2-2
HAVERHILL ROVERS

Both of these sides shared the points from this match after Lynn's two first half goals were cancelled out by Haverhill's two in the second.

Stephen Spriggs netted both of Lynn's goals, his first coming in the 8th minute when Stephen Harvey played him in to turn Colin Vowden's challenge and side foot the ball across goalkeeper Arron Benstead and into the bottom left corner; the second came ten minutes later when Mark Heath-Preston beat the offside trap down the left and his low cross across the goal line was slid in at the back post by Spriggs.

Haverhill's first came seven minutes into the second period, Adam Ben-Saud flicking on the ball to the debuting Nick Impey; his shot came off goalkeeper Duncan McAnally into the path of fellow debutante Joey Abbs, who managed to put the ball past the defender on the goal line.

The equaliser came after 88 minutes, Impey laying the ball off to Joe Harvey and his 25 yard effort, while off balance and sliding, found the bottom left corner of the net and meant that each side took away a point.
