| HAVERHILL ROVERS | 3-0 | SWAFFHAM TOWN |
Haverhill notched up their second win in three matches after a run of four straight defeats to leave Swaffham still battling just above the bottom three of the division.
They netted their first after 19 minutes, Joe Harvey's long ball down the right finding Ryan Kent, who cut back inside and left full back David Greenwood smoked like a kipper; Kent's low cross was met first time by Paul Shaw, who got ahead of defender Gary Setchell to lift the ball past goalkeeper Steve Norris.
The second came 12 minutes into the second period, Kent playing in Shaw 25 yards out and right of goal; the latter's square pass gave Sam Green the chance to slide in ahead of his marker, the ball taking an age before rolling over the goal line and into the bottom left corner.
The scoring was completed with the third and final goal after 89 minutes, Robert Palmer's attempted back pass to Norris leaving eyes focused on Kent, substitute Paul Stokes coming in to win the 50-50 challenge with Norris and take the ball towards forward before scoring into the unguarded goal.
