| CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY LADIES | 3-5 | HAVERHILL ROVERS LADIES |
Following two back-to-back defeats in cup competitions Haverhill got back on the right track with this win, a Kelly Taylor volley, two goals from Bekki Smith, one from Sian Randall and another from Amanda Everett seeing them to victory.
With Smith coming in for the unavailable Louise Anderson the away side started well and took the lead after a quarter of an hour, a corner by Everett met by a volley from Taylor.
With the hosts struggling against their opponents some good work by Randall allowed Smith to net her first of the game before a set piece from the home side meant they pulled the score back to 2-1 in Haverhill's favour.
Unfortunately a Shelley Farr foul in the penalty area meant that Cambridge converted a spot kick just before the break and went in on level terms.
After hitting the home cross bar Haverhill found themselves a goal down after a break following their own corner, a through ball by Katie Shorter allowing Randall to curl the ball around the goalkeeper to level the scores up at 3-3.
From there Shorter laid the ball out to Rachel Mann on the right and her ball across the box allowed Everett to put the travellers in front once more.
With Shorter hitting the post and Smith hitting the bar, Hannah Robinson produced a good save to keep Haverhill ahead before a drilled ball by Shorter was flicked over the home goalkeeper by Smith for her second and Haverhill's fifth.
