HAVERHILL ROVERS
4-1
HARWICH & PARKESTON

Haverhill made it five wins in their six game unbeaten run as their downed their Essex coast visitors.

The first goal for them came in the 40th minute, Nick Impey's header after a Paul Abbott cross parried by goalkeeper Ed Wooten and Colin Vowden reacting first to put the ball in off the shot stopper from the rebound.

The second came 11 minutes after the break, a through ball by Marc Abbott setting up Sam Green to fire across the diving Wooten and into the bottom left corner.

Haverhill's lead was extended further in the 63rd minute from a neat finish by Joe Harvey, Harvey dribbling into a position left of goal and 15 yards out before curling his effort into the far right side of the goal past a stationary Wooten.

Harwich didn't give up and scored what was a consolation goal after 86 minutes when a low cross by Tony Chatters evaded the home defence and Scott Page side footed into the net past goalkeeper Arron Benstead, Adam Ben-Saud ensuring the hosts ended three goals to the good two minutes into added time when his first time effort from a ball by Impey went between Wooten and his near right upright.
