NORWICH UNITED
1-1
HAVERHILL ROVERS

Haverhill's unbeaten run stretched to 7 games with another drab draw, this time away to Norwich.

After Harry Halls had come close Louis Harper gave the away side the lead after 42 minutes, his shot from just outside the left corner of the area going straight towards diving goalkeeper Ben Nower until the boot of home winger Jordan Blyth took it over Nower and into the net.

Lee Salmons also rounded Nower before hooking the ball just wide with the penultimate kick of the first half.

Scott Wilby ran from the half way line before firing inches away from the near right post after the break, Blyth crossing for Paul Atkins to head down the middle of the Haverhill goal and equalise in the 56th minute.

Stuart Wardley and Sam Holmes both had further opportunities for the visitors but neither could find the net.
