Haverhill rose to the top of the Ridgeons Reserve League South with victory in this top of the table clash.

Tiptree went ahead after 29 minutes when Ash Collins forced home the ball from a far post corner.

Tom Kirk equalised for the home side 6 minutes later in identical fashion from a Haverhill corner but Tiptree took a lead into the break when the impressive Dave Nelson drilled the ball past Tom Edwards from the edge of the penalty area.

Shaun Banham levelled the game for the second time from the penalty spot 12 minutes into the second half following a handball by a Tiptree defender, the initial kick being saved by the Tiptree goalkeeper but retaken after encroachment by a Tiptree defender, and, five minutes later, Craig Cutts put the home side ahead, deflecting a Cody Frazier shot past the Tiptree 'keeper.

Tiptree pressed forward in search of an equaliser but a bad tempered match finally came to a head in the last 5 minutes when both Frazier and Toby Taylor of Tiptree were sent off following a scuffle in the penalty area.
