HAVERHILL ROVERS
3-0
FAKENHAM TOWN

Haverhill made it eleven wins a row with this result as they left Fakenham without a win away from home in the league for six matches and kept themselves in the promotion spots in the division.

The first of their three goals came with practically the last kick of the opening period, a low cross by Joe Harvey bouncing in front of away goalkeeper Steve Lewis and causing it to be spilled, Martin Westcott adjusting himself well to take advantage and back heel flick the ball from behind him and into the net.

It was just before the hour mark when they doubled their lead after Ben Cowling was fouled in the penalty area by Adam Woodhouse, Marcus Hunt stepping up and, despite Lewis guessing correctly with his dive, Hunt was able to double his side's lead.

With chances now becoming sparse the home side's third goal came five minutes from time following a cross on the turn by Adam Salmons, Cowling intially heading the ball into the back of a defender but he was quick to react and swivel on the ground to put the ball low and into the net.
