| THETFORD TOWN | 0-3 | HAVERHILL ROVERS |
Haverhill made it nine games unbeaten as they comfortably defeated a Thetford side that had won three out of their last four at home.
Both sides had good chances in the opening four minutes, some trickey by Neil Cogger seeing his first shot saved by home goalkeeper Lee Hulyer, his follow up being cleared off the line by Andrew Cusack. Thetford's chance a minute later came when Jason Cole curled a 15 yard effort on to the face of the far right upright.
The away side took the lead in the 14th minute, Cogger using his pace to make it to the bye line and putting in a low cross that Adam Salmons touched across goal and into the net.
Thetford came out better in the second half but almost went 2-0 down when Hulyer took out Martin Westcott in the penalty area, Hulyer making up for it by putting Marcus Hunt's spot kick behind for a corner.
Two minutes later, with 62 minutes gone, the score was 2-0 to the away side, Westcott getting well ahead of Hulyer to jump and head Cogger's corner into the far side of the net.
The final goal came two minutes into added time, another low cross by Cogger setting up substitute Sam Green for a shot on goal, his first effort being blocked by David Richards but the ball coming straight back to him to slot it into the far corner of the goal.
