SWAFFHAM TOWN
1-0
HAVERHILL ROVERS

Swaffham picked up their first win in five matches as they sent Haverhill to only their second defeat in their last twelve.

As usually happens with this game good chances were rare to find, the best of the first half falling to the hosts when Robert Palmer had a shot from the edge of the right corner of the area turned around the post by goalkeeper Arron Benstead.

The only goal of the game came in the 65th minute from striker Tomasz Borkowski, the home player running down the right wing and past the challenge of Marcus Hunt before beating Benstead at his near upright.

Haverhill had chances to equalise via Marc Abbott, substitute Martin Westcott and Paul Abbott but none were able to beat 'keeper Steven Norris.
