HAVERHILL ROVERS RESERVES
1-0
HUNDON

A first half goal by Shaun Banham proved to be the deciding factor between these two sides after a hard fought match.

Banham had an effort pushed behind by Hundon goalkeeper Chris Price, Lee Sharp's cross-come-shot looping towards goal before being pushed over by the same player.

A 45 yard volley lob by Haverhill's Paul Hunt after a clearance by Price went on to the top of the left stanchion before Banham netted in the 25th minute, a great ball from the left back spot by Brad Deeks playing in Banham who, with Price unsure and coming out too late, put it to the right of the goalkeeper and in.

Banham also had an effort cleared off the line after a mistake by Price four minutes later.

Harry Halls thought he had found a second goal for Haverhill early in the second period, only for his effort to be disallowed for offside, Craig Cutts coming close for the away side, only to see his shots parried by goalkeeper Scott Lowen, the second being acrobatically tipped over after Cutts had gone past three defenders.
